Station 70

Station 70, located at 4741 Golden Gate Parkway, was built in 1991 on the site of the original station, constructed in 1971. It is shared by the fire district and Collier County's Emergency Medical Services Department. The building serves Golden Gate City residents and also hosts county EMS paramedics and ambulances.

The original station was built by the Golden Gate Fire Association. The association disbanded in 1983 when the fire district became independent. A new building was constructed as the fire district staff grew to keep up with growth and handle the increased calls for services.

The fire district has a 30-year-lease on Station 70 and can buy it from the county in 2021.

Station 71

The Golden Gate Fire Control and Rescue District has four stations to serve its residents. The newest, Station 73, serves as the fire district headquarters and was built to meet the needs of the growing population. The headquarters is located at 14575 Collier Boulevard in Naples, Florida.

Station 71

Station 71, located at 100 13th St. SW in Golden Gate Estates, was built in 1988 with two bays. A third bay was added several years later. Two full time mechanics service all fire trucks and staff vehicles from this station.

In 2002, major renovations were done that doubled the size of the station. Additions included the creation of more rooms for firefighters on shift, a weight room and a new entrance. A conference room was also added to provide an area for firefighter training and meetings.

Station 72

Station 72 officially opened in February 2004.

Construction took almost one year for the station, located at 3820 Beck Blvd., east of Collier Boulevard at the intersection with Davis Boulevard.

The station handles a variety of calls, many on Alligator Alley (I-75).

The station houses Rescue 72, Brush 72 and an 85-foot ladder truck, Tower 72.

Station 73

Station 73 was completed in March 2007 and formally opened that May. It is located at 14575 Collier Boulevard.

The station is the fire district headquarters for administrative staff, including the chiefs and inspectors. Fire Commission meetings are held at the station, and most firefighter training sessions are also held here.

Station 73 houses the fire district's Urban Search and Rescue Team trailer and equipment. The district's fire safety house is also located at the headquarters. The safety house is used to teach disaster preparedness and to show residents how to escape their homes when fires strike.
