Victor A. Hill is the district's public information and education officer. He handles all media inquiries and requests for information. Hill also coordinates the fire district's public education programs offered to residents, at schools and with local groups and organizations. He created the fire district's website.

Hill is actively involved in state emergency response and fire and life safety education initiatives. He serves on the executive board of the Florida Association of Public Information Officers and is editor of the association newsletter, The Plug. Hill is a member of the Florida Fire Chiefs' Association Public Information Officer Deployment Team and is a nationally typed information officer through the Division of Forestry.

Hill was named 2006 Public Fire and Life Safety Educator by the Florida Fire Chiefs' Association and serves as chairman of the Florida Society for Public Fire and Life Safety Educators.
